This private villa was developed on a plot in Florya where a former, dilapidated apartment building once stood.
The existing structure was completely reimagined and rebuilt as a single-family residence, shaped entirely around the homeowners lifestyle and spatial needs, located in Florya, Istanbul.
The entrance floor hosts the main living areas, while the first floor accommodates children’s bedrooms, a guest room, and a family TV lounge.
The lower levels are designed for service functions, indoor parking, wellness, and hobby spaces, including an indoor pool.
Lighting was treated as a defining design element, combining recessed fixtures with concealed lighting details, highlighted by a dramatic pendant descending through the stair void.
With a gross area of 1,400 m² and 685 m² of outdoor space, the villa unfolds across multiple levels.
The top floor is reserved for a generous master suite with dedicated dressing rooms and bathrooms.
High ceilings allowed for a bold yet balanced interior approach, where darker tones were confidently used in circulation areas and bedrooms, softened through textiles, accessories, and reflective surfaces such as bronze-tinted mirrors and wood paneling.
Conceived as a calm yet elegant home, the project reflects a restrained aesthetic enriched by personal memories and carefully selected details, resulting in a timeless and highly livable family residence.
