Owned by an Istanbul based couple with two daughters, the house was planned to comfortably host the family throughout the summer months.
The home offers 340 m² of interior space and a 90 m² private garden, featuring six rooms including a master suite, guest bedroom, two children’s rooms, a helper’s room, and a laundry room.
The design approach favors calmness and clarity an intentionally pared back summer aesthetic.
Rather than major structural changes, spatial richness was achieved through thoughtful detailing, mirrored surfaces, and a strong indoor / outdoor relationship.
Natural materials define the interiors: marble floors in shared areas and terraces, oak flooring in bedrooms, and ceramic finishes in bathrooms.
The open plan living area, combining the kitchen and lounge, extends seamlessly toward the terrace and greenery.
Soft, Los Angeles–inspired tones were layered with natural textures, while beige, black, and subtle orange accents add warmth and movement.
Lighting remains understated yet layered, combining spotlights, pendants, and concealed lighting within cabinetry and shelving.
Carefully selected textiles, kilims, and artworks bring character to the space, completing a relaxed yet refined summer home designed for effortless living.
